Peter Bennie announces a new modernised logo in the first of many planned initiatives that focus on building on the success, strength and longevity of the Peter Bennie brand.
Under Bennie’s new 4th generation Group Managing Director, Matthew Ayres’ vision for 2020 and beyond, the modernised logo is a starting point that sets a firm foundation for future success.
The logo incorporates elements of our previous iconography, we feel heritage is important to maintain, especially for a family run company with over 8 decades of history. The original Peter Bennie logo was created by Roger Toseland, who one day was told by a member of his team a new logo was required for the business, he scribbled the Bennie name on a piece of paper and handed it to his colleague, and said ‘here you go’. Rogers’ handwriting has formed the core of the Peter Bennie logo to this day.
As a business that carries the namesake of The Bennie Group’s founder, Peter Bennie is a strong local brand amongst employees, customers, suppliers and the local community.
